Alpine School District – Prototype Elementary School
Provo Valley, Utah
VCBO Architecture
Within the challenges of a prototype design, these schools provide opportunity for individualization based on the neighborhoods they serve. The shared learning areas are well articulated and maintain flexibility while suggesting activities. Classrooms have strong visual connections to the flex areas. These prototypes included a very active planning process with a diversity of user groups. The result is a prototypical design that can adapt and respond to a variety of learning styles.
