Chugach Optional School was built in the 70's as an open concept school. This addition/renovation project to embrace this educational philosophy. A high level of participation from stake holders including neighbors, parents, students and staff was achieved included in the design forums. The project includes tow additions and an extensive renovation that has transformed the school from a plain 70's building into an exciting, creative learning environment. The project and the process are strongly represented in the presentation boards.
