Lighthouse Award

Nathan Hale High School Performing Arts Center
Seattle, Washington
Mahlum Architects

The project is an outstanding example of meaningful, place making architecture can occur within the constraints of public school budgets. The facility contains highly flexible program venues, both inside and out, and re-engages the neighborhood to its school. The Performing Arts Center also showcases sustainable architecture for the students and the larger community it serves.
