We must now build on this tradition by increasing our membership to include sectors now under-represented within the organization. Increasing membership from the communities we serve to include minorities and urban school personnel.

2013 Innovative Educator Award
In 2008, our Chapter conceived the Washington CEFPI Innovative Educator – Environmental Based Learning Award. The primary goal is to honor Washington State teachers making an impact on their students by utilizing educational environments in new and innovative ways incorporating classrooms, out-of-doors learning settings, or public buildings or spaces. Completed applications and all accompanying documentation must be submitted by April 29, 2013. Questions may be directed to markfo@mckinstry.com
