As a design researcher for Steelcase WorkSpace Futures, Elise is responsible for research studies in the higher education market. She specializes in applying ethnographic methods to the design process as a means of discovery and innovation. For the past two years, she has been instrumental in research projects involving the study of learning environments. Elise graduated from the University of Madison Wisconsin with a bachelor of fine arts in 2000 and from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology with a master's of design in human centered product design with an emphasis in research.
